Inspiring Peace Of Mind
This short video explains my approach to coaching which is based on my lived experience of trying to implement changes in my life.
Business & Organisations
Much of what I learned about myself and life was by sitting in groups and listening to other people share their experience strength and hope. It was very reassuring and empowering for me to realise that I was not alone in my thinking and behaviour patterns, and that I could change. It was one of the main reasons I wanted to integrate my coaching approach into the group format.
When I work with groups I use the same simple framework of Awareness, Acceptance and Action. This means that each session is focused on helping participants understand (a) why they behave and think in certain ways (b) The importance of self-acceptance and self compassion and (c) exploring simple things they can do to help themselves feel better.
Usually group courses run over a series of weekly sessions and will cover several topics related to resilience, and emotional and mental wellbeing.
The same framework of Awareness, Acceptance, and Action is applied when creating bespoke courses for organisations. This means getting more clarity on the issues and challenges that may be impacting a particular group. Exploring different ways to gain a more compassionate understanding of the difficulties that many may be encountering in life.
Previous workshops have been created addressing the issues of mental health and well-being, resilience, and self-care, such as MORE ORGANISED LESS STRESS, ADAPT TO CHANGE, THRIVE, and FREE TO BE ME.
The aim is always to empower participants to take responsibility for their well-being so they can learn to respond in a way that is more conducive to their well-being rather than overreacting to the challenges they face every day. To help them to become more calm and less stressed.
“The choices we make dictate the lives we lead… the better we feel about ourselves, the better choices we make”.
